Abstract

Sport and technology are increasingly intertwined, with teams and clubs relying on apps, data tracking platforms, and analytics. Sports professionals (coaching, physical education) can expand their careers by acquiring digital skills (programming, data, design) without abandoning their core identity. The discipline and consistency inherent in coaching are key strengths that facilitate the transition to technology roles, such as developing performance measurement tools or managing communities. Part-time, online learning allows for the acquisition of valuable knowledge.
