https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8518

With the increase in content production, the originality of texts has become a crucial concern. Automated plagiarism detectors have become popular to combat plagiarism. These tools analyze texts and compare them with a database to identify similarities, generating a match report. Their advantages include time savings, the detection of unintentional plagiarism, the promotion of academic honesty, and compatibility with multiple formats. However, they also present risks such as false positives, lack of semantic context, overdependence, and data privacy issues. Therefore, responsible use is recommended, which includes manual review of reports, proper citation of sources, and complementing automated analysis with human judgment. Detectors are a valuable tool, but they should not replace professional judgment.
Shakeel Malik

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/7799

Game has been a recurring object of study in Physical Education (PE) because it has allowed for reflection and connections with other disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, and history, allowing for reflections on the cultural aspects of play and all its leisure, recreational, and playful dimensions. Therefore, considering play as a teaching strategy in PE applied to the classroom is a recurring theme. Therefore, ancestral games take on great value when practicing PE because they not only contribute to the playful and recreational dimensions but can also function as a strategy for the development of skills and abilities. Therefore, this study focused on investigating the Latin American ancestral games documented in the scientific literature between 2014 and 2024, using a qualitative methodology with a documentary design using the PRISMA declaration as a search strategy. It is concluded that there are various ancestral games and sports that have great potential to be applied in PE. However, there is a need for studies that integrate, apply, and promote cultural practices.
Thomas Perez Restrepo

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8126

This is a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach, with a comparative and correlational design, which aimed to investigate the relationship between psychological and physiological variables in women with fibromyalgia. The study aimed to evaluate the relationship between changes in the glycemic profile, pain intensity, depressive symptoms and mood states, comparing these indicators between women diagnosed with fibromyalgia and healthy women. Pain intensity, pain threshold, mood states and depressive symptoms were evaluated in 28 women diagnosed with fibromyalgia and 17 healthy women. For the group of women with fibromyalgia and changes in the glycemic profile (FMCaltPG), there was a moderate and positive correlation between depressive symptoms and pain intensity. An inverse correlation was also found between glycated hemoglobin concentrations and pain intensity, indicating that these women have more depressive symptoms and with greater intensity, however, they may feel less pain. The proposal aimed to contribute to the understanding of the interaction between emotional and metabolic factors in the experience of chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia.
Khaled Omar Mohamad El TassaJoice Mara Facco StefanelloDiogo Homann

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8160

Arterial stiffness is an important indicator of vascular aging and is associated with the risk of cardiovascular diseases and mortality. Several interventions have been proposed to reduce arterial stiffness, especially in hypertensive and prehypertensive individuals. In recent years, combined physical exercise has been investigated for its impact on this marker. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of combined physical exercise on arterial stiffness in hypertensive and prehypertensive individuals. To this end, a systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines, searching the PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, LILACS, and Google Scholar databases. A total of 2,675 articles were identified, of which only three met the eligibility criteria and were included in the analysis. Pulse wave velocity (PWV) was the primary measure used to assess arterial stiffness, being present in 66.7% of the studies. The results indicated that in two out of the three studies (66.7%), combined physical exercise was not effective in reducing arterial stiffness in hypertensive and prehypertensive individuals. Therefore, it is concluded that further experimental studies involving combined resistance and aerobic exercise interventions, conducted with greater methodological rigor, are needed to verify whether a significant reduction in arterial stiffness can indeed be achieved in these specific groups.
Marckson da Silva PaulaRodrigo Gomes de Souza ValeJani Cleria Pereira BezerraEstélio Henrique Martin Dantas

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8348

Introduction: Judo was invented in Japan in 1882 by Master Jigoro Kano. It became an Olympic discipline in 1964 and has been continuously featured in the Olympic Games since then. Currently, over 20 million people practice judo worldwide, with this number increasing each year. Objective: To provide a narrative review of the main scientific works published on judo from a multidisciplinary perspective. Materials and Methods: The studies from 2010 to 2025 have been selected, gathering the most contemporary research that can be useful for optimizing training and performance. Results and Discussion: Judo has experienced significant growth in both practice and scientific study over the last 15 years. Regarding injuries, although some studies highlight a low incidence, others warn of a high frequency. From a psychological perspective, variables such as anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, and mental resilience are emphasized, both in professional and school populations. In physiology, parameters such as heart rate, blood lactate, and body composition are analyzed, highlighting the metabolic demands of judo. Finally, studies on sports training reveal the effectiveness of HIIT, hypoxic training, and judo-specific tests. Conclusions: Scientific knowledge of judo has significantly developed since 2010. https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8356

The present study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an adapted training program in a 14-year-old boy with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), focusing on improving his physical fitness, metabolic control and quality of life. The methodology adopted a quantitative approach, using a single-case design with pre- and post-intervention measurements over 24 weeks. Standardized techniques were implemented to evaluate physical, anthropometric, metabolic and emotional variables, ensuring a systematic and objective analysis of the results. The findings showed significant improvements in multiple dimensions. In physical terms, increases in muscle strength, postural stability and functional autonomy were observed, facilitating the performance of daily activities. Regarding metabolic parameters, a notable reduction in body mass index, fasting glucose and cholesterol levels was achieved, highlighting the effectiveness of the nutritional and educational component. In addition, the emotional and social dimensions showed considerable progress, reflected in a greater perception of well-being and personal autonomy. The system adapted training program is a comprehensive and effective intervention to address the limitations associated with PWS. Although the limitations of a single case study restrict the generalizability of the results, this work highlights the feasibility of customized programs in local contexts, promoting the inclusion and well-being of individuals with PWS. The main objective of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of an adapted training program in a young man with Prader-Willi syndrome, considering functional, motor and quality of life variables.
Daniel Josue Kirby Gomez

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8398

Lower-limb muscular power is assessed through the Countermovement Jump (CMJ) and Squat Jump (SJ) tests. Although muscular power depends on maximal strength (Fmáx), the relationship between relative strength (FR) and vertical jump (VJ) metrics remains underexplored in intermediate-level sprinters. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between maximal strength (Fmax), relative strength (RS), and vertical jump (VJ) metrics, as well as to compare performance in the Squat Jump (SJ) and Counter Movement Jump (CMJ) tests in 16 male sprinters (age: 22.8±1.77 years; height: 176±6.05 cm; body mass: 69.7±6.83 kg; training experience: 5±3 years), with an average 100-meter time of 11.3±0.34 seconds. Participants performed CMJ and SJ on a contact mat, and Fmáx was assessed through the one-repetition maximum (1RM) squat test. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS software (version 25.0) and Jamovi (version 2.3.38), adopting a significance level of 5%. A strong and statistically significant correlation was found between FR and the heights of both the CMJ (r=0.65; p<0.05) and the SJ (r=0.76; p<0.05), as well as a moderate and statistically significant correlation between Fmáx and the SJ height (r=0.54; p<0.05). Therefore, it is concluded that increasing FR is essential for improving VJ height and should be monitored throughout the different phases of the annual training cycle.
Vidal Palacios CalderónEdson Antônio TanhofferClaudia Maria Sallai TanhofferMatheus Souza dos SantosAna Carolina Vieira DelfinoMaicon Ambrósio de SouzaChristian de Santana Leite

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8419

A great day of surfing is made possible by good waves. The bigger and more perfect they are, the more likely they are to bring extreme satisfaction to those present in the sea. However, when they become too large, due to the arrival of large swells, they can lead to accidents and setbacks for unprepared surfers who cross their path. Thus, descending a “ramp” of moving water, approximately 20 meters high, on a surfboard can be a moment of pure adrenaline and happiness, but also, if you are unable to stay upright, can cause great inconvenience to unsuspecting surfers.
Luiz Carlos Marinovic Doro

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/7860

Sport Psychology is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses the application of psychological principles to the sporting context, with the aim of improving athletic performance, well-being, and the personal development of athletes. In Brazil, the training and work of sports psychologists has been consolidated over the last few decades, in line with the growth and professionalization of sport in the country. The aim of this study was to investigate the trajectory of academic training, the main areas of activity, and the challenges faced by sports psychologists in Brazil. To this end, 230 participants were recruited, including physical education professionals and psychologists who specialize in sports psychology and work in the field. A semi-structured interview and a structured questionnaire were used as instruments, and the analysis used descriptive statistics for the quantitative data and content analysis by coding for the qualitative data. The survey revealed that although the academic training of Sport Psychology professionals in Brazil is robust, with many professionals holding postgraduate degrees, there are still significant challenges in valuing and integrating the profession in an interdisciplinary way. The perception of moderate or low appreciation by many of these professionals indicates an area that needs attention and improvement, highlighting challenges, especially in terms of funding and resources. It can be concluded that, despite this being a field of activity undergoing increasing development and recognition of its importance, according to professionals working in the sector, there is still a long way to go to achieve ideal conditions.
Afonso Antonio MachadoBruna Feitosa de OliveiraFernanda Jardim MaiaIelson José dos SantosMarta Baggio Bippus

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8124

Psychomotor skills are a transdisciplinary field that investigates the interactions between motor skills and the psyche, integrating emotional, cognitive, and motor aspects throughout human development. Their inclusion in school physical education, especially in early childhood education, is fundamental to promoting an integrated approach to development, stimulating expression, intentional action, and the construction of thought. Its presence in school physical education, especially in early childhood education, is essential for promoting integration between body and mind, favoring expression, action, and the construction of thought. This study aimed to understand how physical education teachers perceive the contribution of psychomotricity in the teaching-learning process in early childhood education. The qualitative research was conducted with four teachers from municipalities in Pernambuco, two from the public school system and two from the private school system. The interviews were conducted based on guiding questions that addressed professional training, the application of psychomotor skills in the classroom, their methodologies, and the effects of non-psychomotor development in childhood. The results showed that, although teachers recognize the importance of psychomotor skills in school physical education, their statements reveal heterogeneous understandings that are sometimes poorly aligned with methodological criteria for application. It was concluded that, despite theoretical recognition of the relevance of psychomotor skills, there are still gaps in pedagogical practice that require continuing education and greater clarity in the construction of contextualized methodological proposals.
Josival Caetano da Silva FilhoIgor Augusto Marques VieiraAna Patricia FalcãoWalmir Romário dos SantosWlaldemir Roberto dos SantosMarlene Salvina Fernandes da Costa

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8232

This article presents a self-assessment proposal based on sports fencing as a learning content, aiming to apply shared and formative assessment, design a tool to evaluate the teaching-learning process, and promote both the practice and the conceptual and procedural understanding of this Olympic sport. Traditionally, students' grades were based on physical fitness tests, whereas today, a more competency-based model is pursued, in which students actively participate in their own assessment process. In this context, fencing is introduced as an innovative and enriching pedagogical resource, despite not being a widely practiced sport in Spain. Its inclusion in Physical Education classes not only helps promote the sport but also provides multiple benefits to students, such as improving physical fitness, developing specific technical skills, and fostering strategic thinking, which can be applied to other areas of life. Furthermore, the implementation of a formative and shared assessment approach in fencing instruction, through strategies such as self-assessment, peer assessment, and dialogued grading, enables more meaningful and lasting learning. This approach helps consolidate both technical and tactical knowledge, making it transferable to other areas and optimizing the teaching-learning process for both teachers and students.
Pedro José Reche Soto

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8274

The objective of this article is to study the historical evolution of women's cycling in Costa Rica, from the first opinion issued by a cyclist about its practice in 1965 to the creation of the Women's Commission by the Federación Costarricense de Ciclismo (FECOCI) in 2019. This commission helped consolidate the practice of this sport by advocating for women's rights, empowering them, and providing them with opportunities through sport. This will be done through data provided by the newspapers La República, La Nación and other digital periodicals. Emphasis will be placed on news about leading female cyclists, their major triumphs, and how this sport helped these women overcome the patriarchal prejudices that shaped their gender identity. Until 1990, this sport underwent a transition between social prohibition and health promotion. It began to gain visibility and acceptance in end-of-year celebrations and patron saint festivals. The participation of women's cycling in the National Sports Games in 1990 and the International Women's Tour of Costa Rica in 1991 promoted it to a national level. As an annual event, efforts are made to maintain the participation of athletes, increase attendance, and promote the participation of key figures. Despite this, the lack of state support and the incorporation of women into cycling remain significant challenges for its development.
Chester Rodolfo Urbina Gaitán

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8362

Dance therapy has been implemented as a therapeutic intervention to manage stress levels in the elderly, prevent early aging, and improve their quality of life; its efficiency in physical, mental, and social well-being has been demonstrated. The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of dance therapy on the stress vulnerability of older adults attending the Club 60 y Piquito de la Lucha de los Pobres in Quito, Ecuador, 2024. The present research adopts a mixed approach: qualitative phenomenological and quantitative analytical. It was carried out in older adults aged 60 years who attend the bailoterapia of the sector of the Lucha de los Pobres in Quito, Ecuador. They were applied the Questionnaire of Vulnerability to Stress, of which 17 attended the scheduled talk (10 women and 7 men) who belong to the Club 60 and Piquito and attend bailoterapia twice a week (60 minutes per session). It was determined that 85% of the older adults who attend the dance therapy of the Sector Lucha de los Pobres are vulnerable to stress after obtaining a score between 30 and 39 on the Stress Vulnerability Scale; likewise, it was identified that there are external factors such as economic situation, health, social support, and characteristics of the population that influence vulnerability to stress. Therefore, it would be convenient for future research to apply validated surveys of vulnerability to stress in two stages (pre- and post-stress).
Andrés Felipe Mercado GonzálezAgatha Cristhina Sandoval Villegas Milena Elizabeth Guijarro Vallejo

Physical Education is more than a practical subject; it is a tool for social and civic education. Through sport, civic skills such as negotiation, respect for rules, conflict resolution, and teamwork are developed. Games acts as a universal language that promotes inclusion and cohesion, especially for students from different social backgrounds or with academic difficulties. Projects in the region demonstrate the positive impact of well-guided sports practice, where the teacher acts as an ethical and cultural mediator. Sport also teaches about effort and resilience. Finally, it is crucial to address gender inequality in this area and promote public policies that integrate sport as an essential component of citizenship education.
Diana Gujer

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/7855

High-intensity physical activity can trigger oxidative stress, potentially impairing athletic performance through the accumulation of reactive oxygen species. In this context, the present study reviewed current evidence on antioxidant compounds found in Baccharis dracunculifolia DC, Matricaria chamomilla L., and Mentha piperita L. A narrative review was conducted using articles published between 2015 and 2025 from the PubMed, SciELO, and Scopus databases, resulting in the selection of 50 studies. Findings revealed that M. chamomilla and M. piperita offer promising benefits in enhancing antioxidant responses and supporting muscle recovery in humans, largely due to their rich profiles of flavonoids and phenolic compounds. B. dracunculifolia also demonstrated antioxidant potential and glycemic improvements in experimental models, though clinical data in humans remain scarce. Despite the protective role of antioxidants, excessive supplementation may interfere with key physiological adaptations to exercise, such as mitochondrial biogenesis and muscle hypertrophy. This underscores the need for more targeted investigations. Integrating herbal medicine into sports nutrition emerges as a promising approach to mitigate oxidative damage and support athletic performance. However, further clinical research is essential to ensure safe and effective application in athletic settings.
Henrique Simão MoraesCamilla Fagundes de Oliveira BuenoFábio RochaLuiz Augusto da SilvaMarcos Roberto BrasilMarianna Wirthmann Pompeo FlauzinoNilane Françoise PatelRaul OsieckiCarlos Ricardo Maneck Malfatti

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8000

The subject of Physical Education and Health in Chile is governed by the curricula and programs of the Ministry of Education, which specify the objectives, contents, activities and evaluations that the teacher can use in his classes of the different units. The Learning Objectives (OA) correspond to skills, attitudes and knowledge aimed at promoting the integral development of students. In particular, OA 04 is related to learning about active and healthy living in the subject. Therefore, the purpose of this reflection is to analyze and understand the learning objective related to the importance of an active and healthy life in the curricula and programs of the subject of Physical Education and Health in Chile, for the courses that go from seventh grade to second grade (ages range from 12-16 years). In this regard, the curricula propose activities linked to the promotion of physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits, include safety measures for the practice of exercises and encourage the prevention of tobacco, alcohol and drug consumption. Also, the importance of physical activity habits and positive experiences from the subject itself, as well as its articulation with other disciplines, is evident. However, there are few experiences that allow collaborative work to be approached as an instance of deepening this issue.
Luis Alfredo Añazco MartinezFelipe Patiño SaldañaMarina Parada GalleguillosIngerman Donoso LucicPablo Del Val Martin

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8073

Introduction: Cupping therapy and myofascial release are integrative and complementary health practices (ICHP) widely used for muscle relaxation and relief of chronic pain, especially in sports contexts. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of PICS, specifically cupping therapy and myofascial release, on improving flexibility among futsal athletes who competed in the 2024 Jogos Escolares do Rio Grande do Norte (JERNS). Methods: This quantitative, experimental, and randomized research was conducted with seven male students from a state school in Pau dos Ferros, RN. The participants were divided into two groups: experimental (EG), subjected to myofascial release with cupping therapy, and control (CG), which received no intervention. Lower limb flexibility was assessed before and after training using the PROESP-Br test, with statistical analysis performed in SPSS 16.0 software (p<0.05). Results: Overall flexibility increased from 30±9.6 cm to 39±8.9 cm. The CG showed a greater gain (29.3±8 cm to 34.3±11.7 cm) compared to the EG (32.5±11.7 cm to 34.7±8.18 cm). Despite the lack of statistical significance (p=0.082), two athletes from the EG reported performance improvements, and 57.2% of the group described the experience as "comfortable" or "very good." Conclusions: PICS, when used alone, showed a mild impact on flexibility, but combining these practices with others may enhance outcomes. Thus, future studies should explore this combination for more in-depth analyses.
Natalia Soares SarmentoNapoleão Diógenes Pessoa NetoLudmila Lucena Pereira CabralLarissa Nayara de SouzaMaria Lúcia Lira de Andrade

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8168

Objective: To investigate the prevalence values and different levels of body image dissatisfaction (BI) among studies involving Brazilian university students by analyzing the database of a systematic review with meta-analysis. Method: Secondary analysis study, based on data from cross-sectional studies that used the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ), with the research stages conducted in 2021. Considering the previously identified confounding factors, the distributions of the levels of dissatisfaction (mild, moderate and severe) in the subgroups of the variable sex were analyzed. The following were included: (i) studies that presented inter-level prevalence data for females; (ii) studies that independently analyzed data for males; and (iii) studies without specifying sex or that presented classification data for both sexes, in a grouped manner. Results and discussion: Thirty-four studies that reported the levels of dissatisfaction with BI were included. 15 presented data for both sexes grouped together or, otherwise, did not discriminate their sample; 25 in females and 7 in males. One study identified severe dissatisfaction among men, while the prevalence was significantly higher in women. The absence of a standardized cutoff point compromises comparability between studies. Conclusion: The secondary analysis showed variations in the levels of body dissatisfaction, with greater prevalence and severity among women. Methodological differences, especially in the definition of BSQ cutoff points, compromise comparability. The need for standardization of measurement criteria and specific strategies to deal with the impacts of dissatisfaction in the Brazilian university context is reinforced.
Gláucio Oliveira da GamaCláudio Oliveira da GamaNancy Vieira FerreiraLícia Oliveira ResendeJefferson Portela SilveiraAgnaldo José Lopes

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8190

The objective of this article is to study the historical evolution of women's boxing in Costa Rica, from the first news report about its practice in 1967 to Yokasta Valle's first world championship in 2016. This was done by collecting data provided by the newspaper La República and other online publications. The historical reconstruction was conducted by studying news stories that addressed the ban on the sport, the leading female boxers, state support, major victories, and how this sport helped these women overcome patriarchal prejudices that shaped their gender identity. Women's boxing allowed these fighters to break the limitations on the equal practice of the sport. To this end, they gave speeches rejecting their sporting marginalization. Furthermore, their bodily empowerment allowed them to transgress the exclusionary paradigm, transcend the public sphere, and win world championships. State support for this sport was very limited during the study period.
Chester Rodolfo Urbina Gaitán

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8111

The following research deals with how an intervention in the physical education class affects to increase and improve the use of Alternative Augmentative Communication Systems (AACS), for children with communication difficulties, in a special school for children with motor disabilities. It arises from the difficulties that teachers have when teaching classes, with students who have severe difficulties in communication. For this reason, Bocce was chosen to achieve the stated objectives. This research was developed in three interconnected phases: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The diagnostic phase aimed to describe the current state of the students through observations and interviews with the teachers. In the intervention phase, an action plan was developed for six months. Finally, in the evaluation phase, the results of the initial and final phases were compared, through the application of the same instruments proposed in the diagnostic phase, which made it possible to assess the effectiveness of the intervention developed, and corroborate an improvement in communication. For all the above, this work aims to analyse the impact of an intervention proposal in the physical education class to increase and improve the use of AACS in children with communication difficulties.
Santiago Guido

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/7780

Children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) often experience difficulties in the development of executive functions, which may persist into adulthood. The purpose of this study is to analyze and synthesize scientific literature on the effect of physical activity on children and adolescents with ADHD. A systematic review followed PRISMA guidelines, searching PubMed and Scopus from 2015 to 2024 without gender or language restrictions. A total of 231 studies were identified, of which 18 met the selection criteria. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. Results showed that 55.5% of studies were conducted in Europe, and the highest % of publications occurred in 2022 at 33.3%. Evidence supported aerobic physical activity, specific sports, and physical activity mediated by apps and electronic devices. Studies indicated that an average of 15 to 20 minutes of daily intervention over 12 weeks could improve working memory, visuospatial memory, self-regulation, planning, and anticipation. In conclusion, physical activity contributes to the development and maintenance of executive functions.
Paola Teresa Penagos GómezCyndi Yacira Meneses CastañoKaren Montserrat León LaredoAna Paula Bernal SalazarTali Bianca Soltak Goldberg

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8407

Spain will revolutionize iGaming regulation in 2025, replacing the current per-operator deposit limits with a centralized joint deposit limit system. This change, managed by the Directorate General for Gambling Observation (DGOJ) through the "Player Portal" and the Joint Deposit Limit System (SLCD), seeks to eliminate restriction circumvention, as 56% of multi-operator players who exceed limits are big losers. Limit reductions will be instantaneous, and increases will require a seven-day wait. License guarantees will be increased to €2.4 million, and AI will be used to detect problem gambling. Spain aims to lead player protection in Europe.
Francisco Baldinelli

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/8066

Training load was structured empirically until the 1940s, but in the 1950s the load was structured scientifically with super-compensation to understand chronic adaptation and based on the athlete's biological adaptation. Studies on load continued to evolve from the 1970s to 2000 with the creation of other periodizations. From 2011 to 2022, 14 articles were written on specific periodization for the volleyball, the training load with the ball was developed with the new content of subjective intensity through the effort of the skill by heart rate and the level of injury of each skill. The objective of the article was to present a way to calculate the load of the ball training before of the session of the specific periodization for the volleyball. Scientific articles were identified in eleven electronic databases during August to October 2024. In the results, the graph of the subjective intensity of ball training was assigned values from 1 to 10 to improve the use of this content. The subjective intensity of each type of training, session, and micro-cycle was calculated through of the average before of the training occurred. The volume of ball training was established by the duration of the session, using a rule of three to determine the volume classification (low, medium, and high). In conclusion, calculating the training load before of the ball training is important for the coach to structure the micro-cycle sessions.
Nelson Kautzner Marques Junior

https://www.efdeportes.com/efdeportes/index.php/EFDeportes/article/view/7534

The purpose of the research was to analyze the relationship of the kung fu training method with the contents of psychomotor development in children from the Shaolin Sports Club in the city of El Alto, Bolivia. 4 children between 6 and 10 years old participated. Interviews were conducted with coaches and parents about the training method. Observation was used, useful in psychomotor practice to evaluate indicators of the psychomotor parameter, type of thinking and play, the Psychomotor Test of Picq and Vayer modified with contents involved in kung fu (eye-hand coordination, general dynamic coordination) was also used, laterality and postural control). To determine the basic motor skills, the Mc Clenaghan and Gallahue test was used; it evaluates the stage of basic manipulative and locomotor skills. Results, it was identified that three children still do not have a defined laterality. Likewise, one child is in an initial stage in the patterns of kicking and throwing, four children present patterns in the elementary stage of walking, running, jumping and grabbing, two are headed for possible psychomotor disorders which is alarming for their development, even so, they present a type of thinking and play appropriate to their age. Conclusion, the analytical method is apparently related to the alterations in the psychomotor contents evaluated based on the practice time, since three children train two hours a day, three times a week, for more than a year and a half, this would affect the development harmonious psychomotor development.
Iván Esaú Pinto VargasBrandon Marcelo Patzi Fernández

The article has as its theme the current reality in Brazil, with regard to the guarantee of learning and quality of education as a goal of the National Education Plan (NEP) to be achieved (goal 7). A problem situation is outlined: In recent years, what has the academic community discussed about such a challenging reality in Brazil? What about publications on ensuring quality learning as a NEP goal to be achieved? This article aims to analyze recent academic discussions on the guarantee of learning and quality of education, concepts expressed by goal 7 of the NEP, against the background of the current reality in Brazil. From a methodological point of view, in addition to the literature used in the discipline, a search was performed on the CAPES journal portal for articles published in Brazil that deal with the subject of the article, using the year 2020 as a time frame, as well as the following descriptors: Learning Guarantee, Education Quality and National Education Plan. Due to what was mentioned in this article, it is important to consider the need to advance in debates, productions and the demand for a more incisive posture by the public authorities, about guaranteeing quality education and learning as a fundamental right and as goals for an entire nation, especially those who need it most in order to reduce social and educational inequalities.
Edimar Francisco NunesDanielle Miranda Gasperin
