The Art Scene of Valparaíso
Murals, Colorful Houses, and a City That Breathes Art from Every Corner
Abstract
Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a living museum where urban art and muralism define its identity. Its iconic hills, such as Alegre and Concepción, display colorful facades and works that tell stories of resistance and culture. This capital of street art integrates corrugated iron architecture with the creativity of local and international artists, establishing itself as an essential Chilean destination that combines historical tradition, vibrant modernity, and expressive freedom.
