Santiago's Role in the Development of Chile's Soccer Infrastructure

  • Alessia Quispe Independiente

Abstract

Santiago leads Chilean soccer through modern infrastructure and advanced technology, establishing itself as an international benchmark. This centralization of resources and investment, both public and private, enhances sporting performance and the fan experience. However, a significant gap persists compared to emerging regions. The capital's model should serve as a guide for decentralizing development and ensuring equitable and sustainable growth throughout the country.
