Abstract

The 2026 Champions League final will mark a historic milestone on May 30 at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest. For the first time in the modern era, the match will be played during the day (6:00 PM CEST) to facilitate fan travel. The stadium, built on the site of the former Népstadion, is notable for its hybrid architecture and excellent acoustics. The event will include a performance by The Killers and large-scale activities in Heroes' Square.
