Respuesta aguda de autoliberación miofascial asociada con la movilidad de la articulación del tobillo en practicantes de cross training

Resumen

La articulación del tobillo necesita estabilidad y un buen rango de movimiento (RDM) en el plano sagital para mejorar el rendimiento físico y prevenir lesiones en los practicantes de Cross Training (CT), una modalidad variada y de alta intensidad. Objetivo: Analizar la respuesta aguda de una sesión de autoliberación miofascial (ALMF) asociada con ejercicios de movilidad articular (MA) en el RDM del tobillo en practicantes de CT. Resultados: Las mediciones obtenidas mediante el goniómetro fueron mayores en el postest (M=37,69; DE=4,107) en comparación con el pretest (M=31,66; DE=3,798) (t(31)=29,678, p<0,001), sin diferencia entre sexos (t(30)=0,447, p=0,658). Conclusión: La intervención utilizada demostró ser eficiente con un aumento promedio de 6,03 grados entre las mediciones pretest y postest.
