El atletismo en el contexto del desarrollo motor: posibilidades de adquisición y mejora de las habilidades motoras

Resumen

El desarrollo motor es un proceso continuo y crucial para la formación integral del ser humano. Esta revisión narrativa tuvo como objetivo analizar el papel del atletismo como una posibilidad pedagógica en dicho proceso. La literatura demuestra que los gestos del atletismo se corresponden directamente con las principales categorías del movimiento humano, constituyendo así una estrategia importante para ampliar el repertorio motor y el aprendizaje deportivo. La evidencia sugiere que los programas pedagógicos basados ​​en metodologías lúdicas, variabilidad de tareas y progresiones adecuadas a las etapas de desarrollo favorecen no solo la competencia motora, sino también los aspectos cognitivos, sociales y afectivos. Además, las prácticas inclusivas y las adaptaciones metodológicas amplían el acceso y la participación de diversos públicos. El estudio refuerza la necesidad de formación docente y políticas educativas que incorporen el atletismo de forma contextualizada, garantizando experiencias motoras diversas y significativas. Se concluye que el atletismo, cuando se practica pedagógicamente, constituye un entorno privilegiado para el proceso de desarrollo motor, la promoción de un estilo de vida físicamente activo y el desarrollo de habilidades esenciales para el deporte, la recreación y la vida cotidiana.
